The luncheon dim sum is now, in my view, the best in Chinatown - a position previously held (at least in my heart) by Phoenix (which is still very fine). The ingredients are fresh, cooked just the right amount of time (clearly not sitting in the kitchen in steam tables keeping them warm), the menu is huge and varied. It is not "Americanized" Chinese cooking at all. Get them during brunch in a variety of different flavors and complete the dim sum meal with pumpkin puffs, piggy baos, and hand-pulled la mian noodles. While there are better options in Chinatown for authentic Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghai, or even Yunnan cuisine, this is as good as it gets for true Cantonese. The service was attentive and friendly, they have a full bar and it is reasonably priced. They have several large tanks of live lobster, crab and fish so you know it's fresh.
